A redundant threshing barn, open to the weather for thirty years, rebuilt as a single house to Passivhaus principles. Everything new is legibly new: standing-seam zinc above, cedar to the one addition, and the stone left to read as stone.

Six consulting rooms on a conservation area site hemmed in by a grade II* church, a protected yew and a right of way nobody could produce a plan for. Three years of pre-application work, then eleven months on site.

A rear and side-return extension to a mid-terrace house in a conservation area, done in dark brick so that it sits down rather than announces itself. The interest is in the section, not the elevation.
